HCPT – The Pilgrimage Trust is registered with the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and Central Registered Body in Scotland (CRBS). All Helpers travelling on the Easter Pilgrimage must have a qualifying Enhanced

Disclosure.1. Only Enhanced Disclosures issued through HCPT after 01/05/05 qualify for Easter 2008.2. If you do not have a qualifying Enhanced Disclosure, you must apply for one immediately.To obtain an Enhanced disclosure, please call the CRB 0870 90 90 844, you will be asked for the following information:-

Failure to have a qualifying CRB Disclosure will mean you will not be allowed to travel. These

procedures are for the protection of you and the children in your care.

Enhanced Disclosures issued prior to 01/ 05/ 2005 are not valid for Easter 2008.

CRBS Enhanced Disclosures [Scotland only]

All helpers living in Scotland (including Scottish based helpers of English / Welsh Groups etc) travelling on theEaster 2008 Pilgrimage must have a valid CRBS Enhanced Disclosure. A HCPT CRBS disclosure issued on orafter 01/05/2005 will be valid for the Easter 2008 Pilgrimage.To initiate a Disclosure please ask your Group Leader to arrange for you to meet with one of the 4countersignatories in Scotland to complete a Disclosure Application Form. Please disclose whether you are the subject of an investigation and/or disciplinary proceedings by yourprofessional body or are not permitted to practice by your professional bodyPlease give details of any criminal convictions, cautions or criminal proceedings pending.As a volunteer with HCPT you will be in contact with children and may not rely upon the provisions of theRehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 so far as it relates to disclosure of previous convictions. All

convictions, however old, must be declared.
